Installation

WordPress.org install#

  1. Go to the Accelerate plugin page or use the plugin directory inside your WordPress admin.
  2. Install and activate the plugin.
  3. Navigate to Accelerate -> Settings.
  4. Select Create your account now to link the site to Accelerate analytics.
  5. Complete the account details in the Accelerate portal. You will be returned to WordPress after the site is connected.

Composer install#

If your site manages plugins with Composer, install Accelerate with:

Composer installation can reduce dependency duplication and makes the plugin easier to manage in code-driven WordPress projects.

First steps#

Your dashboard can look empty on the first day. Accelerate needs time to collect data, build rankings, and generate useful insights.

Allow a few days for a normal traffic flow before treating the dashboard as representative. Staging and development sites will often stay sparse because they do not receive enough real traffic.

Managing sites#

Use the Accelerate account portal to manage your account and monitor multiple connected sites.
