What you can personalize on#
- Geography. Show region-specific offers, events, or messaging.
- Campaigns. Match the landing experience to the UTM-tagged ad or email that brought the visitor in.
- Behavior. Treat first-time visitors differently from returning readers.
- Device and context. Adapt content by device, browser, or time of day.

How to keep it manageable#
Start with one high-intent audience and a content change that has a clear success metric — a campaign-matched headline, a returning-visitor CTA. Because every personalized block is measured like an experiment, you'll see quickly whether the variant earns its keep.
Avoid creating many overlapping rules before you know which audiences are large enough to measure. One well-chosen personalization that demonstrably converts is worth more than ten you can't evaluate.
