Accelerate comes out of two decades building for enterprise clients at Human Made. We made it for what those clients actually measure themselves on (traffic is nice, conversions pay the bills).

Who makes Accelerate?
Human Made makes Accelerate. Joe Hoyle leads engineering, and Noel Tock leads product and design, with colleagues from across the company contributing code (they’re all credited above).
What is Human Made?
Human Made is an enterprise WordPress agency, building platforms since 2010 for organizations like Google, TechCrunch, Harvard, and Siemens.
How did Accelerate start?
Accelerate started inside Altis, serving Human Made’s enterprise clients. Between 2023 and 2025 it was pulled out into a standalone plugin, and since August 2025 any WordPress site can sign up and use it.
Where can I get Accelerate?
Accelerate is in the WordPress.org plugin directory. The Free plan covers up to 1 million page views a month with 30 days of analytics retention, and the Premium and Enterprise plans add more volume and longer retention.
